The Citizen Movement Congressional Caucus (MC) reported that on Wednesday afternoon Mexican lawmaker, Jorge García Alcibíades, of Mexicali, tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

In a prepared statement, the caucus indicated that “acting responsibly, the legislator did not attend the (ordinary) meetings held last Wednesday, March 18 and Thursday, March 19, because he had symptoms of fever.”
