CALEXICO — Energy officials from the Imperial Irrigation District and Mexico’s Centro Nacional de Control de Energia met at Calexico City Hall Thursday morning to announce a partnership whereby IID has been providing energy to CENACE.

Under the partnership, IID is providing up to 27 megawatts of energy from June 1 to the end of September to CENACE, which needs the extra capacity to get through the hot summer months.
