EL CENTRO — The Imperial County Board of Supervisors Tuesday night approved the purchase of office furniture from Parron Hall in San Diego for $167,576 for office space in Brawley that Imperial County Behavioral Health leased in January, but Board Chairman Ryan Kelley wasn’t happy about it.

At the previous board meeting on July 23, when only three board members were present, Kelley cast a deciding vote against the motion, since it needed three votes from the board to pass. The motion was reintroduced Tuesday, and this time around, it passed 4-0, although Kelley’s yes vote was given reluctantly.
