Participants sought for COVID vaccine study

EL CENTRO — El Centro Regional Medical Center will begin accepting test subjects Thursday as part of a nationwide trial to test a new COVID-19 vaccine.

ECRMC, working in collaboration with UC San Diego researchers, will serve as a subsite of the Phase III study of AstraZeneca’s AZD1222 vaccine.
