Q: It seems as if Imperial Irrigation District sets unreasonably high qualifications for positions in order to discriminate against certain candidates.

For example, a recent position for the vegetation line clearance inspector position seems to be a bit extreme for the pay scale and it almost appears as it is purposely done to limit the applicants to someone who is already being considered for the position.

To get hired at the IID the main criteria is you have to know somebody inside. Everything else is disregarded. Everyone knows this.
