Abandoned marijuana

Border Patrol agents found about 275 pounds of abandoned marijuana in these bundles about 30 miles east of Calexico on Sunday. 

Border Patrol agents discovered about 275 pounds of abandoned marijuana with an estimated street value of $123,750 near Gordons Well south of Interstate 8 on Sunday morning.

The bundles of marijuana were found around 10:30 a.m. about 30 miles east of the downtown Port of Entry, according to a press release.
