EL CENTRO — Demonstrators demanded the return of high school sports in Imperial Valley during a rally held here Friday afternoon.

A crowd made up of players, parents and coaches from throughout the Valley gathered on the west side of the county Superior Courthouse to voice their belief that local youth should return to sports immediately and safely, organizer Ryan Rebollar explained.
