BRAWLEY — Western heritage here will stand the test of time and stay noble as the difficult terrain pioneers and their descendants have managed to nurture into the thriving community many here now call home.

The Cattle Call Rodeo is a quite a celebration not just for the city but the whole Valley, insisted Danny Williams, a Cattle Call Rodeo Committee member. “Kids come back for the rodeo who wouldn’t come back for Thanksgiving,” said Williams. “My daughter is 29 and she’s back here from Austin (Texas). The rodeo is very much family entertainment. The atmosphere is electrifying.”
