IMPERIAL — While the story of how Imperial Valley native Andy Ruiz Jr. upset Anthony Joshua for the world heavyweight boxing title on Saturday will live on for countless generations, local members of current generations will get a chance to celebrate the occasion with him in person later this month.

A parade and rally celebration will be held the morning of June 22 at a location in Imperial that has yet to be announced.
