SELPA awards three for support of special needs students

IMPERIAL COUNTY — The Special Education Local Plan Area Executive Board has honored three individuals for outstanding support to local students with disabilities.

The 10th annual SELPA Community Advisory Committee awards were presented during the board’s June 19 meeting. The awards recognize recipients for their dedication, commitment and spirit of service on behalf of students with disabilities within the community, said SELPA Director Deborah Montoya.
