EL CENTRO — John Osuna passionately embraced his 8-year-old daughter Monday evening after not being able to do so for more than a year.

The U.S. Army master sergeant, who is originally from Brawley, was deployed to Korea on May 5, 2020, and returned home Thursday. He decided to surprise his daughter with his return in a unique way.
