State of the County focuses on solutions, rather than problems

WESTMORLAND — Board of Supervisors Chairman Ryan Kelley didn’t mention the continuing strike of deputy district attorneys at Thursday night’s State of the County address, but that doesn’t mean he had nothing to say about it.

In a speech at Doc’s Organics citrus-packing facility that ran for about a half hour, Kelley acknowledged virtually every county department, including the Public Defender’s Office. In that context, mention of the District Attorney’s Office was notable in its absence.
