The Southwest High School Outdoor Adventure Club went on a three-day camping trip at the Laguna campground in Alpine, Calif., from Feb. 15 to 18, to get out into nature and camp in the snow.

The OAC expected snow, but no one expected it to snow every day of the trip. Because of the unexpected snow, many were unprepared for the harsh conditions, but the students were able to cope and make it through the trip.
