Taste of the Valley: Scholarship fundraiser benefits from good food, good weather

CALEXICO — Around 300 people were believed to be in attendance Friday evening as San Diego State University-Imperial Valley held its fifth Taste of the Valley.

Seventeen vendors from the food and beverage industry shared samples of some of their popular menu items on a comfortable, still evening on the campus commons.
