Tiny homes to be built for homeless IVC students

EL CENTRO — An affordable housing project to shelter homeless Imperial Valley College students will be built here by the years’ end.

The project, titled Lotus Living, Rise Above Resilient Community, will be constructed in the vacant city-owned lot at 1998 N. 12th St., at the intersection with Bradshaw Avenue near Lowe’s Home Improvement.
