CALEXICO — Three Calexico High School culinary arts students have earned the chance to showcase their cooking skills and represent the state, as well as the Imperial Valley, at the national level in an upcoming competition.

After winning the annual Family, Career and Community Leaders of America state conference in April, Nelly Rodriguez, Evelyn Soto and Channel Amarillas will now be competing in the National Leadership Conference, which will be held June 30 to July 4 in Anaheim.
