Two from Valley among 11 members of new Cattle Council

SACRAMENTO — Jesse Larios, feedlot manager at Brawley’s Foster Feed Yard, and Bill Brandenberg, owner of El Centro’s Meloland Cattle Co., are among the 11 members appointed by California Department of Food and Agriculture Secretary Karen Ross to the new California Cattle Council.

The council was implemented by CDFA at the industry’s request on April 8, following a vote of industry members.
