Gross value of crops and livestock produced in Imperial County in 2018 was nearly 8 percent higher than it was in 2017, the Imperial County Agricultural Commissioner’s Office announced Tuesday.

The 2018 Crop and Livestock Report said more than $2.2 billion in crops and livestock were produced last year, an increase in value from less than $2.1 billion in 2017.
