CALEXICO — The city here notified the public Thursday that its water system at its water treatment plant recently exceeded drinking water standards for Total Trihalomethanes (TTHMs).

The city said although it is require to notify residents and customers when the standards are not met, its announcement said the detection “is neither harmful nor a reoccurring issue.”
