Renewable or “green” energy sources are considered the future of sustainable energy in the 21st century.
Green energy comes from sources who have a significantly smaller impact on the environment than traditional power sources. As the nation’s power use grows, so too must its ability to generate that energy in a more efficient and permanent way. Green energies draw their power from self-sustaining power sources, such as wind, the sun or the heat of the earth underground. Although limited by location, they are not dependent on the whims of outside nations or sources — they are a domestic industry.
