When Kristian Salgado was an undergraduate pursuing a degree in environmental studies, she found that college presented a big financial challenge.

At the time, she was working with a non-profit organization that focused on zero waste and reusable items. So, she came up with the idea to start crafting reusable face pads so that people wouldn’t have to use so many disposable cotton pads.
