A Reader Writes: Reflections on a mother’s love

Karen Kelley

Upon reading the excellent article by Ron Griffin in the “My View” section of the Imperial Valley Press (May 10), I was so taken with his memories of his mother, that I began remembering so many instances that occurred during my childhood that I hadn’t thought of in a long time.

There were only two of us, my brother and I, in our family. My father traveled a great deal of the time, so my mother doted on the two of us, spreading her love and joy at all times. There are many memories of “Mother’s Love” that my mother showered on us with her unwavering love.
