110 IN THE SHADE: Boom Town

So we were driving merrily along I-8 East heading to the IV Mall when we saw the sign, “Korean Barbecue.” Since we had already passed the Fourth Street exit in El Centro, the best we could do was to stop off on our next trip which is what we did this past Saturday.

I should apologize ahead of time for my behavior. I arrive with a critical attitude when there is a new store in town. This is especially true with restaurants. The door to Khan Korean BBQ, Sake House at 330 Wake Ave. faces south. The door handle is large and it is metal. So the first thing we did as we met the greeters was to suggest that they wrap the handle in cloth to prevent mild burns.
