LIFE OUT HERE: Blessings in disguise

I’ve found in my life that things that seem bad at first often turn out to be blessings in disguise.

For example, two weeks ago I had surgery on my right shoulder. I had a complete tear of the rotator cuff and significant damage to the labrum and biceps tendon. My shoulder had been killing me for a year and a half, so I decided I would get it surgically fixed during my winter break from teaching.
