The Mex Factor: A Soda to the Hall of Fame

For quite some months, a group of enthusiastic fans of an Argentinean band Soda Stereo have been promoting the nomination of the act to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The band, led by the late Gustavo Cerati, along with Zeta Bosio and Charly Alberti, was one of the most influential in Latin America and some other parts of the world. Founded in the aftermath of Argentina’s dictatorship, Soda influenced many other bands in the years to come.
