On Saturday I drafted my last printed letter. On Sunday I wrote it. On Monday I added/quoted the I.V. Press, “Mass shooting have Latinos worried about being targets.” Well, my coffee amigos can testify that the day after the El Paso, Texas, shooting, in which 22 were killed, I told them it could happen here in 90 percent Mexican Calexico.

Though that article of Monday, Aug. 12, went from Latino to Hispanic to Mexican; when in San Ysidro, El Paso, Gilroy or Phoenix, it’s Mexican. Latino and Hispanic applies to nationwide (Bolivian, Cuban Honduran, Puerto Rican, etc.). In the U.S. Southwest it's mainly Mexican.
