On May 2, Chaplain Richard Barnes of the Imperial Regional Detention Facility was the Master Of Ceremonies at the Salvation Army of El Centro’s National Day of Prayer breakfast. IRDF and the Salvation Army have worked closely together since the facility’s opening in 2014 with things like Angel Tree and feeding the homeless. Chaplain Barnes has participated each year in the event, and this year was asked to emcee it.
