CALEXICO — On Oct. 13, 2017, the Calexico Bulldogs ran all over the Palo Verde Yellowjackets in a 41-28 home win powered by 151 rushing yards and three scores by Andy Rojas.

That win — which also happened to be the Bulldogs’ first league victory under head coach John Tyree — would be the last that Calexico would celebrate within the confines of Ward Field for 687 days.
