SAN DIEGO — Unable to capitalize on early opportunities, the Calexico High Bulldog football team saw the Mission Bay High Buccaneers dominate the second half of their CIF-San Diego Section Division V semifinal to claim a 41-7 victory Friday night.

The sixth-seeded Bulldogs were making their first-ever appearance in a third postseason game, but second-seeded Mission Bay made two key defensive stops, and two Calexico turnovers in the second half led to four Buccaneer scores and the win.
