Freeman selects footwear to help Valley nonprofit

HOUSTON — CASA of Imperial Valley will be a beneficiary Sunday when Royce Freeman and the Denver Broncos take the field at NRG Stadium here to battle the Texans.

Freeman, an Imperial High School alumnus and one of the most accomplished athletes in Valley history, has chosen the advocacy organization for local foster kids as the charity he will be representing in the NFL’s My Cause My Cleats weekend.
