HOLTVILLE — The Holtville High Viking softball team’s recent post season run that saw them win the CIF-San Diego Section Division IV championship and come within one run of winning the state CIF Southern Cal Regional championship was impressive on many levels.

On the field, Holtville dominated their opponents with home wins over Classical Academy 10-0, La Jolla 13-1 and then a 13-7 victory over Bayfront Charter in the CIF championship game.
